I purchased Volkswagen Virtus 15 June last month, everything is excellent about the car the looks, the interiors everything is excellent. But what I see there is lil bit of cost cutting or you can say plastic quality of interior is lil bit downgrade as compare to my old Skoda rapid. 

One of the most bad thing about Virtus is automatic 1.0 is the fuel economy, it only give you 7-8 kmpl only in city.

  • VW 2.0 cars can do wonder; and as a current owner of Skoda Rapid TDI DSG; I have my opinions a suggestion to the VW India and Skoda Auto India for few areas that needs improvement which might imbibe a certain hesitance.

    Sunroof is not perfect; that needs to manually move the sunroof ceiling. Although its not a downer buy any means.

    The Ceiling lining material in models with sunroof could have been better.

    No engine cladding; this is disappointing not have this from VW/Skoda.

    The boot had metal openings on both sides. In a β‚Ή20 lakh car, this is not expected from VW, being a current owner i know how neat and quality levels you can deliver

    Ventilated seats could have been better but it works i can live with it not a downer again.

    Lastly one touch window up-down functionality.

    All of the above are pure basics that the brand had been offering in the history small little features. Just bringing back these will complete the package and it will a chicken dinner for all πŸ˜‡
