I have been a Maruti Suzuki owner all my life till now, I wanted a better build quality so i thought of going for kushaq or taigun.
I test drive kushaq first, the ride was satisfactory but not great. Then i test drove taigun 1.0 on the same day. I just drove the car for mere 500 meters and I knew right away that taigun is a perfect fit for me. The ride and handling were mesmerizing to say the least. The engine is punchy, though there is some turbo lag during the initial gears. once the engine reaches 1500 rpm there is no stopping it. I did not even test drive 1.5 liter version because I was satisfied by the performance of 1.0 itself.
I had door rattling noise on bumpy roads, conveyed the same during my first service, service advisor checked it and lubricated the door beading which sorted out the issue. The interiors could have been better, but it is not a deal breaker for me. Very satisfied with the first 1300 kms with my Taigun MT topline.
