Overall Ownership Experience
  • For the purists, a refined and tuned German engine is perfect.
  • The ride quality and power delivery are very smooth, and you fall in love with the experience of driving.
  • I love long drives and drove almost 8000 kms between Jan and April '25 — something I wouldn’t have done with any other car.
  • I live in Bangalore, so the quality of roads is not suitable for my car.
  • But once you get out on decent highways — Wow!
  • Ride quality is decent in cities too, but Bangalore roads are something else.
Service & Maintenance Experience
  • I have contacted service centres in two cities — both were very good experiences.
  • However, my buying experience and post-purchase experience was a little shaky.
  • I did my research and was sure about what I wanted to purchase.
  • I think this influenced the sales team at the VW showroom to not pay as much attention to my needs and sales experience as they would for sales that are not locked in.
  • A few lapses were present, but I would attribute it to human nature.
  • I am a first-time car owner, so I am still learning about the care and affection that goes into a car.

Things I Like
  • I love the engineering of my car — specifically the engine and torque that it delivers.
Things I Don’t Like
  • Lack of a few features (I knew this before purchase but accepted it).
  • A few things with the braking system are a bit annoying; it is not as refined as other systems.
