  • ARAI range of 517 km should translate to 400+ km in real-world usage.
  • 60:40 and 50:50 split seats with AC vents and cupholders across all rows.
  • 75% value buyback plan is a step in the right direction.
  • 10–70% charging in 30 minutes, 150 kW DC fast charging support, 0–100 km/h in under 9 seconds, and a top speed of 140 km/h are solid numbers for a 7-seater EV.
  • As a new player, this adds diversity to the EV space and caters to buyers looking for global brands.

Shortcomings

  • Only one variant at ₹24.49 lakh feels like a missed opportunity. A more aggressive sub-₹20 lakh entry could have created stronger buzz and challenged ICE 7-seaters more effectively.
  • Safety package is decent with anti-pinch windows, 4 disc brakes, HHA, EPB with Auto Hold, but only 4 airbags is disappointing in this segment.
  • Misses out on key convenience features expected at this price point: 360° camera, ventilated front seats, rear armrest, V2L, and wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.

Verdict

More competition and more options are always good for customers, but execution at launch could have been sharper.
