Toyota has released their new Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV. Bookings are now open and prices will be announced next month.
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder will be placed above the next Urban Cruiser facelift. The SUV has a split headlamp setup that has become very popular in recent times. It has a small grille with glossy LED DRL on both sides, and full-LED headlights placed on the bottom. At the back, Hyryder gets small C-shaped headlights with a Toyota logo in the middle.
Toyota Hyryder gets a double-tone interior with a leather-wrapped dashboard. It features features such as automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, digital instrument cluster and head display and integrated car technology. Hyryder's safety features include 6 airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, ESP, hill-hold assist and hill descent control.
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is the first SUV in its class with a hybrid powertrain. It uses a 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 91 BHP and 122 Nm. ICE is integrated with a 78 BHP and 141 Nm power engine.
The car comes with a 177.6 V lithium-ion battery pack that provides up to 25 km of electricity. According to Toyota, the SUV delivers power at 24-25 km / l.
In addition to the powerful and efficient hybrid, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder comes with a Maruti Suzuki-sourced 1.5-liter K-Series mild-hybrid powertrain. It produces 103 BHP and 137 Nm of power. This car comes with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun and Skoda Kushaq. The car manufacturer offers a standard three year warranty / 1,00,000 km and an 8 / 1,60,000 km battery warranty on the integrated version.
