Overall Ownership Experience
  • Tata Tiago offers excellent value for money.
  • Feels smooth even at high speeds — runs comfortably at 110 km/h.
  • Interior feels premium — not like a low-class car.
  • Steering is very smooth, AC performance is good.
  • Suspension handles bumps well; ride remains comfortable and not tiring.
  • Front seat comfort is impressive, especially for long drives.
  • Reliable for long trips, with no major issues so far.
  • Overall, very satisfied with the car — especially for the price compared to other cars in the same category.
Service & Maintenance Experience
  • First two services were done at the authorized service center.
  • Switched to local garages afterward but had a poor experience.
  • After 3 years, a new agency opened in Sangrur district — service quality is excellent, and now all service is done there again.
  • Outside service for Tata is not recommended — better to stick with authorized centers.
Key Incidents:

Fuel pump sensor issue:

  • Local garage applied Feviquik — issue wasn’t resolved, and it cost ~₹4000.
  • Service center later fixed it properly and replaced the original sensor for just ₹200 with excellent service.

Oxygen sensor failure:

  • Went directly to service center — cost ₹2800.
  • Smooth and satisfying experience.

No other major issues to date — can take the car anywhere without worry.

Things You Like & Dislike
Likes:
  • Harman music system — excellent sound quality.
  • Smooth driving experience.
  • Comfortable seats.
  • Useful features like electronically adjustable rear-view mirrors.
  • A solid, reliable, and practical daily car.
Areas of Improvement:
  • Gear shifts could be smoother.
  • No boot release button at the rear — boot opens only with the key, which is inconvenient.
