Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Q1 FY27: Sales Up 46% YoY, EVs Hit Record High

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. has opened FY27 on a high, with broad-based growth across its petrol, CNG, and EV line-up through the first quarter.

The Numbers That Matter

  • Tata sold 182,574 cars and SUVs in Q1 FY27, up 46% year-on-year from 124,809 units in Q1 FY26.
  • June 2026 alone accounted for 63,083 units, a strong 69% growth over June 2025.
  • EV sales for the quarter reached 34,467 units, up 112% year-on-year, with June's 14,800 EV units marking Tata's highest-ever monthly EV sales.
