Overall Ownership Experience
Exterior & Design:
  • Curvv looks unique and bold on the road; definitely a head-turner.
  • Coupe-style design stands out from other boxy offerings in the segment.
  • Front design inspired by Harrier, Safari, and Nexon.
  • Rear slopes down but ends at a higher angle, giving it a pleasing and uniform look.
  • The car is large and has strong road presence.
Interior & Cabin Practicality:
  • Interior layout is well-balanced, with a uniform design of the instrument console and infotainment system.
  • Fabric seats are well-cushioned, though cleaning can be a bit of a hassle.
  • AC control panel has physical switches and works effectively.
  • Glovebox is spacious, cooled, and highly practical.
  • Front door pockets can hold 1L bottles and include a built-in umbrella holder — a thoughtful touch.
  • Chauffeur and co-driver seats are both comfortable and spacious.
Rear Seat Experience:
  • Rear seats offer enough comfort for 3 averagely built passengers.
  • Well-cushioned with ample thigh support.
  • Good headroom and knee room for people up to 6 feet tall.
  • Large window area adds to the airy and spacious feel.
  • Small but thoughtful additions like reading lamps on the curtain side and coat hooks add to passenger comfort.
Boot Space & Storage:
  • Boot space is possibly the largest in the segment — highly appreciated by all who’ve seen it.
  • Spare wheel and repair kit are neatly stored under a cover.
Performance & Driving Experience:
  • 1.2L Revotron engine is refined and delivers linear power.
  • Jerk-free DCA ensures smooth driving in both city and highway conditions.
  • Suspension is well-tuned and absorbs rough patches comfortably.
  • Hyperion or Kryojet engine options are better suited for those who seek more torque or thrill.
  • Three driving modes: City, Eco, and Sport allow flexibility based on driving conditions.
Mileage (After 4,000 km of Mixed Use):
  • City: 12–14 km/l
  • Highway: 15–18 km/l
  • Given the dimensions of the car, these mileage figures are satisfactory.
Why I Chose the Curvv Creative DCA Variant

Cost: ₹15.6 lakh on-road (after discount).

Other options considered:

  • Tata Nexon Fearless
  • Honda Amaze 3rd Gen ZX CVT
  • Nissan Magnite Tecna+
  • Maruti Fronx Alpha AT
  • Maruti Grand Vitara

My key priorities:

  • Unique looks
  • Good boot space
  • A proper 5-seater family car
  • Strong service network
  • Solid build quality
Final decision:

Curvv stood out on all these fronts.

In a market full of boxy cars, Curvv offers a bold yet subtle design, practical features, and is perfect for those looking for a spacious and value-driven family car.

Service & Maintenance Experience

I purchased the car from Roshan Motors, Jaipur, and kudos to them for getting the paperwork and delivery done quickly — within a week. They allowed third-party PDI before RTO registration and guided me well as a first-time buyer. I also received a ₹40,000 discount, which was a cherry on top.

Overall, the service delivery was quick and efficient. The first service has been completed; I will share future service updates in due course. A key positive has been Tata’s proactive service executives. For example, I had a minor TPMS issue that was resolved within an hour on a priority basis. This experience makes me optimistic about long-term ownership.

  • Reverse camera quality
  • Rear door insulation from dust and mud
  • Pricing could be reconsidered in light of competition
