Review Comments
Overall Ownership Experience
  • Extremely satisfied with the purchase — great value and impressive driving experience
  • Steering feedback and braking system are top class, giving full control and confidence
  • Build quality and interior finish feel luxurious and premium
  • Responsiveness of the car is excellent; never felt like a wrong purchase
  • Reverse camera quality is excellent, even in dark areas — very useful for night drives
  • Completed multiple 500 km+ night drives with no fatigue
Driving Concerns

Engine: 1.5L Diesel with DCA

  • Gear shifts are butter smooth from 1st to 6th — no noticeable transition
  • But shifting from 6th to 7th (up/down) has a noticeable lag, feels like the car hesitates or might stop momentarily
  • Seeks clarification whether this lag is normal for DCA or a potential issue

Stability at high speeds:

  • Car feels balanced till ~130 km/h
  • Once, at 133 km/h while taking a slight turn, felt temporary loss of balance
  • Brakes worked instantly and brought the car back in control — grateful for Curvv’s braking system
  • Happened only once out of 3 high-speed runs
Comfort-Related Drawbacks
  • Missing sunglasses holder — basic yet omitted feature at this price point
  • Cup holders on dashboard are impractically placed
  • No magazine holders behind the front seats — a simple but useful feature that’s missing
  • Limited rear headroom — not ideal for passengers over 6 feet; manageable for user (5’11") as they mostly drive
Comparison with Other Options Considered

Skoda Kushaq:

  • Loved the driving dynamics and build quality
  • Rejected due to lack of 360° camera and arrogant dealership experience

Hyundai Creta:

  • Felt underwhelming in build quality despite multiple test drives
  • Curvv felt sturdier and more confidence-inspiring
Service & Maintenance Experience

So far, satisfactory

Only issue: missing damping in one rear door, noticed during film installation

  • Tata service team has acknowledged it and promised replacement
  • Part number not traceable yet; customer can’t check this pre-delivery, so oversight lies with Tata
  • Appreciates that service team is responsive and committed to resolution
