Overall Ownership Experience
  • Terrific choice — I selected it after thorough research.
  • I can go ahead and buy a 20–30L car, but I wanted something that perfectly suits my needs.
  • The feel while driving, comfort, and reliability is of the next level.
  • Yes, there is a bit of an issue with power, especially while overtaking (1–2 seconds of lag in pickup).
  • For me, it is fine — I’m an overcautious driver who doesn’t go beyond 65 kmph on highways.
  • Perfect first car for our family of 3 (with one 2-year-old munchkin).
Service & Maintenance Experience
  • Service is okish. I guess they do the checks, but it always feels like they just wash it and change wiper liquid.
  • Only 3 services done so far (free ones).
  • Except a reverse parking lamp issue, nothing major.
  • They could be more communicative and define clearly what they are doing in terms of service.
  • Transparency is lacking, but service is still satisfactory.
  • They do the basic service job well — no complaints there.
Things You Like & Dislike
Things I Like
  • Looks (subjective, but me and my wife like it a lot).
  • I hate the basic rounded innocent “dabba” look from the front on other cars — Altroz looks like a killer shark.
  • Color: Opera Blue.
  • Features: I went for the base version which offers 6 airbags. It is the +S Lux sub-version (one below top model). We get all features except connected car.
  • Ride quality: unbeatable. You love it when you touch the steering on highways — it stays perfectly balanced, and the turnings are pure butter.
  • On YouTube, many said there’s excess sound inside the cabin — but ours is relatively silent.
  • Rear seat comfort is also perfect.
Things I Don’t Like
  • Power lag while overtaking (1–2 seconds pickup delay).
