Skoda has raised the ex-showroom price of its popular Octavia by Rs 56,000 in India.
Both Style and Laurin & Klement (L&K) variations will see a price increase. Meanwhile, this is Octavia's second price rise since its launch; the first was in October last year, when the price was increased by up to Rs 86,000.

The Skoda Octavia enters its fourth generation in November 2019, with a new and bolder look, a redesigned interior, and new tech and safety systems.
Following that, in June 2021, the Octavia was introduced in the country, with a choice of five colors, two versions, and a single petrol powertrain.

The key features of the Octavia include quad-LED adaptive headlights with integrated daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, a 10-inch driver display, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, dual-zone temperature control, a 12-speaker, 600-watt sound system, a wireless phone charger, eight airbags, powered seats with memory function, and more.

The Octavia gets a four-cylinder, inline, 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine delivering 188bhp and 320Nm of torque. It's paired with a shift-by-wire seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
