No dry cloths ever, no engine bay spray.

1. Get Your Setup and Tools Ready

Pull out floor mats, hook up pressure washer or hose, dilute shampoo in grit guard bucket. Gather mitt for body, tyre brush, shaving brush for tight spots, microfibers (replace yearly), glass cleaner. Wireless vacuum if you got one. Gets you ready fast, protects paint.

2. Clean the Interiors Thoroughly

Wipe door frames, floor, rubber, scuff plates, boot with damp microfiber. Vacuum dust and bits from crevices. Wet cloth only, no harsh stuff. Stops dirt spreading out, 10-12 mins, keeps cabin fresh.

3. Clean the Interior Glass Surfaces

Spray glass cleaner light, one per side window, 3-4 on windshield, from distance. Wipe straight lines with clean high-GSM microfiber, no streaks. Ties in with exterior later.

4. Wash and Dry the Floor Mats

Spray em down, shampoo on, scrub hard with tyre brush for grime. Rinse full with pressure washer, no residue, air dry in sun or breeze. Cuts mold, odors, 5 mins, do weekly even without full wash.

5. Clean the Tyres, Wheels, and Arches

Pressure wash all tyres and inner arches first, knock off mud, dust, brake stuff, 3 feet away min. Shampoo with separate cloth or mitt, brush sidewalls and profiles. Gentle on inner arches with same brush. Rinse good. Fun part, 5-8 mins, makes car look sharp.

6. Pre-Rinse the Entire Body

Pressure wash whole car top to bottom, one side at time, 3 feet distance. Loosens dirt, no scratching before shampoo.

7. Apply Shampoo to the Body

Fresh mitt in bucket, wring over grit guard. Roof first, straight lines, overlap. Then front, sides, rear, glass. Shaving brush for grilles, emblems, fake exhausts. Rinse mitt often. Best part, 15-20 mins, key to no swirls.

8. Do a Full Rinse on the Body

Pressure wash shampoo off, top-down, sides separate. Check crevices, mirrors, water clear. No spots or buildup.

9. Dry the Vehicle Properly

Right after rinse, high-GSM drying towel, blot from roof down, no rubbing. 8-10 mins, must in hard water spots.

10. Handle the Final Bits and Inspection

Spray wipe exterior glass, sunroof with cleaner, same interior cloth. Check misses, drips. Mats back in if dry, toss leftover shampoo, wash tools for next. Step back, feel proud valuing your ride. Regular like this saves cash, lasts longer.
