MG Astor – Petrol – 8000 km – Ownership Review

It has a very good handling, pick up is a bit slow, it does not pick up immediately compared to the Tiago I have, gear is smooth as butter. Interiors are amazing, the ride height is very good, a proper height almost keeps the bonnet visible. Build quality is really good, avg is less with ac on. However if driven with discipline it can give u an avg up to 17 in city and 25 in highway. I have personally clocked 25 on mg in highway. And max of 17 in city. Long drives are comfortable and I had no issues whatsoever in highspeed. Clocked around 160 and I was still confident on the wheels. Its worth the money you spend. Also I have 3 years amc with MG. So i dont have to pay anything for servicing. I also had a minor incident where my driver door had to replaced so insurance claim was hassel free. All taken care by the garage. They took the car and delivered on time. I am very particular about cleanliness. I dint like the cleaning so I had complained next day there was a guy to clean the car at my doorstep. And they kept this on record. Next time it went for servicing they cleaned it so well. However experience with Tata was they always tried upselling but Mg never did that with me. They asked if I wanted yes or no done. Tata kept persuading. So MG was far better in service and also customer relationship.
