Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that it will raise prices across its model lineup in April 2023.
Reason for Increment
In a stock exchange filing, India's largest automaker stated that overall inflation and regulatory requirements continue to put pressure on costs. While it makes efforts to reduce costs and offset some of the increase, it has become necessary to pass on some of the costs through a price increase.
The BS6 Phase-II norms, which require automakers to equip their vehicles with pollutant detection devices, will also be implemented in April.

Expected Increment
Maruti hasn't announced the exact amount of the price increase, but it will vary depending on the model. The price increase will be applied to the entire commercial vehicle line.
