Overall Ratings
Baleno is a overall good package as it provides ample of space. Comfortable you can seat 5 people. Petrol engine is very peppy and gearbox is a delight in the city traffic.
Clutch and steering are also very light overall in the city it’s a very good car. In the highway the light steering gives a disadvantage as
directional changes are not as good compared to older swifts. Also the brakes doesn’t offer much confidence in high speeds. The car has an excellent engine but the chassis and handling just doesn’t compliment that.
The sheet quality is extremely poor and I am very dissatisfied by it. Interior quality might be the best but it’s good enough. Doesn’t feel cheap like the older Maruti's. Overall it’s a good car for city use where you need quick overtakes and light steering. Fuel efficiency is also not the best it returns around 10-11 km/l in the city but on the highway it can easily give around 17-18 km/L.
