Interestingly, 7000 bookings which accounts approx. 55% are for the strong-hybrid variants.
Since July 11, 2022, Maruti Suzuki has received over 13,000 reservations for the Grand Vitara. Surprisingly, the strong-hybrid variants account for 54% (over 7,000 bookings).
The Grand Vitara comes in six trim levels, including two strong-hybrid variants: Zeta+ and Alpha+. According to reports, the SUV will be released in September 2022.

The Grand Vitara Strong Hybrid is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 115 BHP and 122 Nm and an electric motor with 78 BHP and 141 Nm. This engine is equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
A more familiar 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrain is also available for the Grand Vitara. It produces 103 horsepower and 137 Newton-meters of torque and is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
