Transforming everyday driving, the Carens Clavis EV features innovative paddle shifters, a standout feature in the electric driving experience. Drivers can easily access four levels of regenerative braking using paddle shifters, tailoring energy recovery and deceleration to their preference, and driving conditions.
Selecting the highest setting, Level 4 Regeneration (also known as i-Pedal mode) enables true one-pedal driving especially useful in urban stop-and-go traffic. This mode delivers maximum regenerative braking, allowing the car to slow down and even come to a complete stop using only the accelerator pedal. It reduces reliance on the physical brakes while enhancing overall efficiency and range.
For added convenience, the Auto Mode intelligently selects the optimal regeneration level (from 1 to 4) based on real-time driving conditions. This smart system prioritizes maximum energy recovery while ensuring a smooth and comfortable drive, adapting seamlessly to changing traffic and road conditions. About Kia India
In April 2017, Kia India signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, India, to build a new manufacturing facility at Anantapur District. Kia commenced mass production in August 2019 and has an installed annual production capacity of 300,000 units.
