Kia debuted the EV9 concept at the 2023 Auto Show. The production version of the all-electric SUV has now been unveiled by the automaker.
Design & Features
The Kia EV9 is the company's flagship electric vehicle, built on the E-GMP platform. The SUV has a sleek front fascia with a blacked-out grille and a vertical LED headlamp with integrated LED daytime running lights that follow the contours. It has similar LED tail lights, flush-fitting door handles, and squared-off wheel arches, but instead of the concept's 23-inch alloys, it has 21-inch wheels.

Interior & Seats
The interior of the EV9, like the exterior, appears modern and futuristic. The dashboard is simple, with a 4-spoke steering wheel and a large screen housing the digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system.
The EV9 is a three-row SUV with captain seats that swivel 180 degrees in the second row. Third-row passengers will also have their own control panel for the climate control system.
Range & Acceleration
The 800V architecture underpins the Kia EV9. Kia hasn't revealed all of the technical details, but the company is aiming for a maximum range of 543 kilometres. The SUV will most likely be available with single and dual motors. The dual-motor GT-Line S variant is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds.
