Overall Ownership Experience
  • Ride and handling within this budget are unmatchable, with utmost driving pleasure.
  • Build quality is top-notch with almost no issues.
  • Fuel efficiency:
  • City: ~8–9 km/l
  • Highway: ~12–14 km/l
  • There’s a bit of turbo lag, but after 2000 rpm power is plenty – easy overtakes on highways and zipping through traffic.
  • High-speed stability is solid, extremely agile, and feels super safe.
  • Interior fit and finish feels at luxury car brand level.
  • Alpine sound system is one of the best I’ve heard under ₹60 lakhs.
  • Space is sufficient for 4 people + luggage for a road trip.
Service & Maintenance Experience
  • Usual service experience is fine – service every 15,000 km.
  • Service cost after removing upsold add-ons: ~₹12,000–₹15,000 (a little on the higher side).
  • Pickup/drop service is available (convenient, but needs prior appointment).
  • Fuel pump issue experience:
  • Workshop at Okhla, Delhi was terrible – denied availability of the part, refused to arrange from another workshop, and didn’t commit to a timeline.
  • Had to personally call multiple workshops and finally found the part at Jeep Workshop Karnal.

Lesson learnt: If something goes wrong, the after-sales service isn’t as good as expected for a ₹31 lakh car.

Things You Like & Dislike
Things I Like
  • The sound system – absolutely love it as an audiophile.
  • Build quality – feels like a tank.
  • Driving feel, dynamics, and sense of safety – only VAG cars or luxury brands can match this.
  • Features: ventilated seats, wireless Apple CarPlay, good headlights, auto-dimming IRVM, digital instrument cluster, keyless entry, automatic boot.
  • The turbo kick – that push-back-to-seat feeling always brings a smile; car feels like a rocket.
Things I Don’t Like
  • Service quality – can be much better.
  • Fuel efficiency – drops a lot if pushed even slightly; needs a light foot.
  • Fuel pump issue – very common in this 1.4 Turbo Petrol, can fail anytime without warning (especially in hot weather). Covered under warranty, but such a flaw is unexpected in a Jeep.
