Skoda's largest market outside of Europe is now India. However, Germany remains the market leader with 1,34,300 vehicles sold, followed by the Czech Republic, where the brand sold 71,200 vehicles. The United Kingdom and Poland round out the top five, with 50,000 and 45,000 units, respectively.
Skoda experienced a turnaround following the introduction of the Kushaq and Slavia. In terms of sales, it became ninth largest brand in India in 2022. The Kushaq sold 26,800 units globally, while the Slavia sold 20,900 units.

'Next Level - Skoda Strategy 2030'
As part of the 'Next Level - Skoda Strategy 2030,' the brand plans to expand its presence in Southeast Asia by entering the Vietnam, where it expects to sell 30,000 units per year. It is establishing a CKD assembly unit in the country, with operations set to begin in H1 2024. Skoda's Pune plant will assemble CKD kits here.
Skoda will also import a number of models beginning in 2023, including the Karoq, Kodiaq, Octavia, and Superb. After 2025, the company intends to launch the Enyaq iV and Enyaq Coupe iV in the Vietnamese market. It intends to sell 30,000 units per year.
