Hyundai Santro Xing is a small, cute , practical vehicle that serves almost all you needs.
We bought this car on 16 June 2011 (I was in 2nd standard at that time ). We bought the top model GLS. Now it has been more than 11 years and the car is still serving us and clocked more than 2 lakh kilometers so far.
It has a 1.1 litre 4 cylinder engine and generates only 61bhp and 96nm
of torque. This car is strictly for city use only because of No high-speed stability, No dynamics, No fun while driving and most importantly no safety It has only seatbelts as a safety feature.
The paint quality is fine (way better than maruti). Service experience is poor in our case. The service centre shows no interest in servicing. Steering wheel has no feel just like other Hyundai cars. Build quality is not so good but it's still better than new generation Hyundai cars. We also faced many engine problems but some how it manages to clock 2 lakh kilometers.
Now Talking about some positives:
That's all at the end I want to say that Santro is vehicle that delivers more for it's price.
And it's a emotion of lakhs of customers across India.
