Overall Ownership Experience

One of the smoothest diesels I’ve driven, with a fairly easy clutch.

  • Ride quality is a great balance between city and highway usage.
  • The front suspension sometimes bottoms out, but it hasn’t caused discomfort.
  • The 1.4 CRDI is amazing – the power-to-weight ratio makes it feel really punchy.
  • Cruising on highways with the 6-speed manual is a breeze.
  • Speeds of up to 150 km/h feel easy and comfortable.
Service & Maintenance Experience
  • Parts are usually available, and if not, they are made available quickly.
  • What bothers me is the part cost – injectors cost over ₹1.5 lakhs (over 10% of the car’s value).
  • Service costs have been acceptable.
  • Overall service experience has been good, with no major issues so far.
Things You Like & Dislike
Things I Like
  • Cornering lamps – most other cars in this segment skip this, but it’s a great feature to have.
  • Bucket-style seats – comfortable and sporty for youngsters.
Things I Don’t Like
  • No charging ports at the back.
  • No wireless Android Auto or CarPlay support.
  • Rear seat comfort: the middle seat at the back is awful for long-distance travel.
  • Strictly a 4-person car for long journeys; not suitable for 5 adults.
  • Bucket seats can be uncomfortable for elders.
