Overall Ownership Experience
  • It's just been 6 months since I bought this car, and till now the experience has been hassle-free.
  • The car is underpowered for its size, hence it doesn’t excite me when I drive.
  • It’s a great car for cruising at 90–100 km/h on highways — stable at those speeds and returns a mileage of 20+ kmpl easily.
  • The torque converter doesn’t provide much fuel efficiency in the city — average is about 10 kmpl.
  • Coming from an XUV500, there are 0 niggles in the electronics department from Hyundai.
  • The only thing I miss is the 2.2L mHawk engine from Mahindra.
Service & Maintenance Experience
  • Only done 2 services as of now, both hassle-free.
  • The first service was free.
  • The second service cost around 5k, which was mainly for engine oil filling.
Things You Like & Dislike
Things I Like
  • The 1.5-litre diesel engine from Hyundai is as quiet as a petrol engine.
  • The 360° cameras are of great quality (unlike the coughs Toyotas).
  • ADAS works well overall.
Things I Don’t Like
  • Lack of a spare wheel is a major con — the tyre repair kit provided sucks tbh.
  • ADAS forward collision feature is a bit unpredictable — it kicks in when bikers come close.
  • On many occasions, cars from behind could have rear-ended me due to the emergency braking.
  • Emergency braking will be great only if every car has it.
