How Tata has redefined safety and quality in Indian market?

(Click on the arrow below to play the video)

In last 6 years Tata has upped their game in overall quality, safety and ride which has brought them back in top 4 market leaders in India. It has around 6% market share in India is still behind that Mahindra (8%), Hyundai (17%) and Maruti (51%). Nexon's 5 stars ratings surely has people talking about Tata's priority for safety. Ever since they have acquired Land Rover & Jaguar, their cars quality has become a class apart. I would rate them higher than Maruti/Hyundai and Honda anyday in safety, though Tata still lacks finishing of plastics like Hyundai/VW but surely Tata is getting there gradually.

With Tata Nexon scoring 5 out of 5 in GNCP ratings, I expect their market share to improve as people might prefer safer car in 10 budget segment instead of simply following the herd & buying unsafe cars from Market Leaders. In 6-12 lacs budget, we have Tata Tiago, VW Polo, Tata Nexon, Tata Tigor VW Vento, Skoda Rapid, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Toyota Yaris and Hyundai Verna (6 airbags version) which provide utmost safety and brilliant overall build quality. Choose wisely 🙂
