Overall Ownership Experience
Driving Dynamics & Comfort:
  • Super smooth drive with excellent ground clearance — not a single scrape on speed breakers so far.
  • Seats are extremely comfortable. Rear seat space is a segment standout — even 6-ft-tall passengers found it cozy.
  • Every family member is super happy with the rear space.
  • Boot space is another major plus — practical and spacious.
Performance & Engine Behavior:
  • CVT is buttery smooth with seamless shifts.
  • From a driving perspective, there are no issues. It was a calculated decision, so I was aware of the engine dynamics.
  • It may take a little while speeding from 10 to 35 km/h, so you won't get the instant pick-up thrill like turbo engines.
  • However, the CVT performs excellently, especially from 35 km/h and beyond — sheer pleasure.
  • Hill driving posed no struggles or power lag — it handled inclines effortlessly.
ADAS & Safety Features:
  • Emergency braking works as intended. Some criticize it in city traffic, but it’s simply doing its job — stepping in when your foot isn’t on the brake and an object is detected.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Departure Warning all work well.
  • ACC can slow down and speed up a bit aggressively, but manual intervention smooths things out.
  • On the Bharuch–Vadodara Expressway, ADAS at 111 km/h worked flawlessly for 82 km straight.
Mileage Insights:
  • City: 9.9 km/l
  • Highway (at 80 km/h): 17.3 km/l
  • Expressway (at 111 km/h): 15.1 km/l
Final Verdict:

No surprises, as all pros and cons were carefully weighed before buying.

Comparing it to German engines is pointless — it’s a different league with its own strengths and weaknesses.

Would I recommend it? If your priorities align: yes!

It’s a value-packed, comfortable, and capable SUV with a balanced driving experience. VFM, no-nonsense car.

Service & Maintenance Experience
  • 1st service at 1,000 km — mostly a formality, no issues found.
  • 2nd service at 5,000 km is due in upcoming days.
  • Requested pick-up and drop service — turned out to be a mistake.
  • The driver who picked it up oversped 16 times during a 10 km drive (as notified by the Honda App).
  • This was reported to the service centre for necessary CAPA.
Things You Like & Dislike
Tech & Interior Practicality:
  • Steering controls and physical buttons offer an intuitive user experience.
  • Wireless Android Auto works great, though disconnected 7 times in 6 months. Reconnected instantly after waking up the phone — likely a minor software glitch that needs an update.
  • The only real downside: armrest — non-adjustable and too small. Honda needs to rethink this.
NVH, Features & Tech:
  • NVH levels are not as bad as some claim — ZX CVT reinforced has good NVH.
  • Auto headlights, rear camera, and lane assist cameras are of good quality — no complaints.
  • AC performance is spot-on — no cooling issues.
  • Keyless entry and walk-away auto lock work perfectly. Haven’t needed to use the key fob to lock the car.
  • Honda Connect App has a good user interface and works absolutely well.
  • Honda could still improve NVH with minor refinements.
