Overall Ratings

Niggles Faced
  • Poor Build & Sheet
  • Minor Quality Issues
  • Poor Service Quality
  • Paint Issues
  • Honda has done pretty good in terms of overall sales experience but the service staff needs to be more aware of the Car, also need of service centres in important cities is the need of the hour.
Review Comments
Overall Ownership Experience
  • The 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine is super refined — a gem for city and highway driving.
  • However, to get good mileage, precise throttle control is required.
  • Uphill driving is challenging due to lack of torque and a weak power-to-weight ratio.
  • Reliability remains a strong reason for choosing Honda over other brands.
  • Discontinuation of Honda diesel engines has reduced the fun-to-drive factor.
  • Hill driving in a non-hybrid Honda petrol vehicle is not ideal, except for the City Hybrid.
  • Ride quality, comfort, smoothness, and suspension setup are top-tier — mind boggling, as always.
Service & Maintenance Experience
  • Maintenance is difficult due to limited service center availability, especially in smaller towns.
  • Often requires a trip to a major city for regular service.
  • Spare parts are expensive.
  • Synthetic oil is pushed even when mineral oil is requested.
  • Service staff rush through jobs — minimal attention even when service is due just once a year.
  • Need for better-trained service staff who respect customer time and money.

Even at multiple centers tried, major servicing was limited to:

  • Brake inspection
  • Battery check
  • Oil and filter replacement
  • Washing
Things You Like & Dislike
Likes:
  • Interior quality feels premium, unmatched at this price point.
  • Even hard plastics remain shiny and intact after extended exposure to sun and heavy usage.
Dislikes:
  • Outer build quality is poor — even a small hand press can dent the sheet metal significantly.
  • For a premium brand, this is disappointing.
