Citroen is preparing to launch its 5-seater Citroen C3 in India next month. The C3 crossover will debut on July 20, 2022, with official reservations beginning on July 1, 2022.
The Citroen C3 is based on the brand's CMP modular platform. It will be positioned beneath the C5 Aircross and will compete against the Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger, among others.
A 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine is slated to power the Citroen C3. A five-speed manual transmission and an automatic transmission are also expected options.
Design & Colors
The C3 has a unique exterior design with dual-tone color options. A two-slat chrome grille and a secondary hexagonal-shaped grille will divide the Citroen C3's characteristic split headlamp design. Faux brushed aluminum skid plates will be added to the dual-tone bumpers. Contrasting orange accents on the front bumper, ORVMs, and side cladding will also be available.
Polar White, Platinum Grey, Steel Grey, and Zesty Orange are the four colors available for the new Citroen C3. Customers will also have the choice of a dual-tone roof, which will be either Platinum Grey or Zesty Orange.
A 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument console, a flat-bottom steering wheel with steering-mounted controls, and silver highlights on the dashboard will all be included on the model.
