Overall Ownership Experience
  • The ride is super comfortable; there is no tiredness even after driving 500+ km in a single stretch.
  • The suspension is a bit on the softer side, and it's no BMW in handling, but drives well.
  • The low ground clearance becomes an issue on huge breakers, but the flat floor is solidly built.
Service & Maintenance Experience
  • I had a steering issue for which the steering assembly was changed under warranty.
  • The car was picked up by BYD on a flatbed, and the whole process was smooth.
  • The service schedule is once every 20,000 km and costed ₹7,000 including tire balancing and alignment.
Things You Like & Dislike
Likes:
  • The range is pretty good — you can drive without any range anxiety.
Dislikes:
  • The handling could have been better.
  • The sheet of the car is a bit thin and prone to minor dents, but maybe that's done to reduce weight. The car weighs 2.1 tonnes.
  • There isn't any connected app for the car.
