BMW has announced the launch of the M5 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition in India for Rs 1.80 crore (ex-showroom).
The BMW M5 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition is available in an exclusive 'Aventurine Red' finish with the 50 Jahre M emblem. The kidney grille features M-specific double bars, as well as gloss black elements such as the mesh on the M gills, ORVMs, and rear spoiler. The M compound brakes are paired with gloss red callipers, and the M Sport exhaust system features Black Chrome quad exhaust tips.
Inside, the special edition M5 comes with Aragon Brown Merino leather upholstery, M multi-function seats with an illuminated ‘M5’ logo, M seat belts, M footrest and pedals, M leather steering wheel, heated seats and a carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) sunroof. The vehicle is equipped with M-specific suspension and 20-inch Jet Black alloy wheels.
The M5 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with 617 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 750 Nm @ 1,800-5,860 rpm. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
