Mahindra has recalled over 19,000 XUV700 and Scorpio-N vehicles due to a clutch bell housing issue.
According to Mahindra, 6,618 Scorpio-N and 12,566 XUV700 models equipped with manual transmissions are affected by this recall to inspect the rubber bellow located inside the clutch bell housing.
According to the official statement, the operational dimensional clearance of the rubber bellow inside the bell housing may have been compromised by a sorting error at the supplier's plant. Owners of vehicles built between July 1 and November 11, 2022 must have the part inspected and, if necessary, replaced.
The dealership would contact each customer individually. The inspection and repair of the faulty component will be provided free of cost.
